The wot box was a lot of fun on my 14 GT. Took me a little while to set up. Wired it in with a raptor shift light straight in since the obd port was being used for the ngauge. Never used the 2 step on it but also an option. I though the n2mb was the same as the wot box. Never made it to a track so no time slips to compare. Just make sure you solder it in good & use some good rubber tape along with shrink wrap on the wires

Well that's a good idea ! Thanks !
NP. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best location for the box before settling on this spot. The good thing about this location is that it‘s a lot easier to run the wiring to. Another option I considered was mounting it on the outside of the fuse cover, but after some pondering, I figured it would be best to get it completely out of rhe way of any passenger’s feet. Don’t want somebody’s foot resting against the reset button and erasing my settings.

You are correct, N2MB is the manufacturer of the box.

@Cordero1, any plans to install on on your 2021?
No, this time I went auto. Tried getting the wife to learn manual & she was doin ok on my truck, but once the RXT went on the 5.0 she gave up on it. Miss driving manual, not the same feeling anymore. To top it off sold my truck & now I have no manual cars. Went from 3 to none. Not cool!

Yeah I plan to. Keeping it street mostly. Track 3.5 hrs away but we get 2 local 8th miles events & Mexico racing as well. Also wouldnt mind trying a road course at least once in Topeka

Looking for first hand knowledge for those using the N2MB .

~ What has been your experience with it ?
~ Works as advertised ?
~ Reliable ?
~ How clean looking is the instal ?

I want to stay away from anything that plugs into the OBDII port.

Thanks !
Works as advertised. We sell plenty of them here at www.lethalperformance.com. Simple and clean install. Give me a shout if you have any questions! https://www.lethalperformance.com/n2mb-racing-dual-feature-wot-box.html

I’ve had it for almost a year now. Haven’t used the two step at the track yet because I couldn’t launch hard on stock axles but recently upgraded them so hopefully this season I can get better times. I did however turn of the NLS feature because I felt like it was slowing my times down when I would shift faster than what I had it set to which makes it lag alittle. Might bring it down to its fastest setting and try it again.

John at N2MB to,d me to leave mine at the default setting which enables an ignition cut of up to 350 milliseconds. I‘ve read that most people set it lower than that though.

Mine was at 200. I know a few guys that I run with that have it at 75ms. May try again once I get some warmer weather at around 100-150 and see how it feels. I also have a real bad tendency to lift instead of NL my shifts. Habit I need to grow out of.

Had mine set at 250. Was about to try 200 due to lag as well. Kept looking at my logs & would go off of that. As far as I got before trading the car.

Okay WildHorse, here’s what I came up with to mount my WOT Box on the inside of my fuse panel. Note: You can see where I drilled a 5/16 hole in the fuse panel to allow access to the reset button on the WOT Box. The hole is just the right size to allow the LED light to shine through, so that I can reference the status of the WOT Box.

Lastly, I am also using N2MB’s Nitrous Add-on harness. I hope everything works out well with the integration of the Nitrous Add-on, with my Nitrous Outlet ProMax Progressive Nitrous Controller. I don’t think anyone has done this before, so we shall see. N2MB worked with me and sent me the attached wiring diagram which should allow it to integrate properly.
