I'm 5'8 220 with a football player's build.. 5000 miles in and the seats fit snug. Originally they were uncomfortable, but this past weekend I drove from St Louis to Atlanta and back.. no problems. They will adjust over time.

I'm a 62 y/o MD, 6'1" 165 lbs. Four days a week I do a minimum of 100 pushups, 30 pullups, and a 50 yard farmers walk carrying 140 lbs. Seriously guys, if you can't fit comfortably in either seat it should be a wakeup call to make some lifestyle changes.

Im 5'10, 205lbs and the recaros are definitely snug but fit me very well. Hips there's no pinching. Tiniest bit tight on my legs but nothing to complain about

Offensive post, bud. I have news for you; my skeleton is not going to get smaller if I lose weight. More news; my belly has no bearing on the width of my lats or hips, and it also doesn't interfere with me fitting into a seat.

I've outweighed you since I was in 7th grade or so. And here I am sharing this stupid photo again. If by MD you mean you are a doctor, you should be able to understand that people have different natural shapes and mine is not anywhere near like yours - even though I'm only a few inches taller.

Find a local trim shop and see if they can spread to side bolster frames a bit for you. Should not be a big deal, or if your comfortable with that kind of work, do it yourself. Might be worth the comfort of not waiting for things to move on their own.

I was going to say something similar. My workout far exceeds his (very far) and I'm not pointing fingers. The seats aren't comfortable for some, that is understandable.

I'm trying to figure out if you're talking about the Recaros or the people engaged in this thread.

Don't delete it. I lost 40lbs after my doctor had level set with me about diabetes and blood pressure. Flipped my lifestyle completely and from fat to fit finished multiple marathons and 3 IRONMANS. Fast forward 10 yrs I told my wife that at 192 I was creeping back up and wanted to get back to 180 hell or high water ... she agreed to the 350 purchase on the pretense that my motivation is to get back in those seats :first:

At 6'2" and 175, I can say I love the Recaros. They have started to break in in 600 miles. My only comment is that they keep my legs from splaying apart. They are very snug and I'm looking forward to staying firmly planted in the seat when I track the car.

What are you doing on the other three days, Doc?

Consider hiring a fat guy to sit in your car.

I'm about 600 miles in and they are getting better. I drove my Boss to breakfast this morning and while the seats are much more comfortable driving around town I know the GT350 seats are going to be much better on track.
