Track only tires?

Been searching posts for a clear answer on track tires. Can't find it. I prefer Hoosiers, since I do not need a street-able solution. However, they only make 315 and do not make a 305, only 295.

I have 2 sets of 6GR wheels for this purpose (track wheels). Looked at everyone's other brand suggestions, and it seems none offer the correct sizes and everyone is going square (305s) or selecting other sizes.

For those using Hoosiers on R spec wheels, what sizes are you using?

I may just buy some cup 2s until I figure this out, but would rather not do so.

I can't provide specific guidance relative to your wheels, but, in my experience, Hoosiers run large, and a 295 Hoosier can be the equivalent of a 305 (or wider). That's not gospel, but you may want to check the actual cross section measurement of Hoosier 295 on the width of your wheel.

Having said that, the Cup 2 is a very good tire on this car, until they go . . .
