Damn you're good!
Ha! I thought I remembered you saying something about them. So when is the thread going up? I am very curious to see what they look like / perform.

Hopefully my uncle lets me Dyno it on that same day to see gains, i just don't want to because his dyno is a heartbreaker (reads lower than average dynos) and because he's just gunna tease me about it. I don't wanna scare a bunch of V6 owners when i post really low dyno numbers...

Awesome! Looking forward to it! If you don't mind me by asking, how much did they set you back? Super six right?

Yup super six, in total it was around 700 or 705 dollars, but i didn't have to buy breathers because i had a oil catch can. When i send my old upper and lower intake back to Tom, the cost will end up being 530 dollars in total including shipping. He's a real cool guy and gave me so many ideas about what to upgrade next.

Not a bad price at all in the end. I am curious to see how the stock tune handles the ported intakes. It shouldn't have an issue because of the MAP sensor but it is still something I am interested in seeing. Might end up being a future mod for me.

Super interested. Lucky you (no pun to your name intended :D) So what is the plan now? are you gonna run a tune on it? When are you gonna install them? and by the way, if you don't have it already, this is the type of situation when the BBK throttle body really comes alive. I would invest in it if i were you ;)

That is a lot of miles in 6 months. Come to think of it I'll probably be near 20-22k miles per year myself. That said, if I were to get 25 mpg avg with 3.15 and 23 mpg avg with 3.55, the difference would only be $280-306 per year @ $4.00/gal...

I'll take the hit for the fun.

How many miles do you guys plan to keep the car? I'm sure it will last over 200,000 miles.

$300 a year is well worth it, imo.

I'm planning to keep mine for a long time, and get a cheap DD in a few years to keep the miles off this one. NA V6s will start disappearing in the industry. It'll be nice to have one come 8-10 years from now.

Yeah I've been thinking about that. When they axe the V6, does the value go up you think? I'm daily driving mine for hopefully 6+ years. Current job is very close so I'm only doing 5k miles a year but things change fast.

I don't think this V6 will depreciate as much as the last gen, but we shall see.
