Damn you're good!Ported intakes!?
Tomorrow i will post pictures of them, and tuesday is my install day so i will hopefully do a video about the before and after feeling.Ha! I thought I remembered you saying something about them. So when is the thread going up? I am very curious to see what they look like / perform.
Yup super six, in total it was around 700 or 705 dollars, but i didn't have to buy breathers because i had a oil catch can. When i send my old upper and lower intake back to Tom, the cost will end up being 530 dollars in total including shipping. He's a real cool guy and gave me so many ideas about what to upgrade next.Awesome! Looking forward to it! If you don't mind me by asking, how much did they set you back? Super six right?
Not a bad price at all in the end. I am curious to see how the stock tune handles the ported intakes. It shouldn't have an issue because of the MAP sensor but it is still something I am interested in seeing. Might end up being a future mod for me.Yup super six, in total it was around 700 or 705 dollars, but i didn't have to buy breathers because i had a oil catch can. I'm planning to keep mine for a long time, and get a cheap DD in a few years to keep the miles off this one. NA V6s will start disappearing in the industry. It'll be nice to have one come 8-10 years from now.How many miles do you guys plan to keep the car? I'm sure it will last over 200,000 miles.
$300 a year is well worth it, imo.
I don't think this V6 will depreciate as much as the last gen, but we shall see.Yeah I've been thinking about that. When they axe the V6, does the value go up you think? I'm daily driving mine for hopefully 6+ years. Current job is very close so I'm only doing 5k miles a year but things change fast.
