Only reason for my switching from X to h pipe is hope for reduced drone....... It's not terrible now but I also think it's has killed low end power

Sorry for the delay in posting, but I have given up on this project. After getting under the car and really looking at how it was done I was afraid to let them work on it again. So I decided that discretion is the better part of valor and gave up and am now stock again. Wonder if anyone else wants to see if they can get this setup to work?

I have that setup and i love it. Ive had that setup since may
Yea I thought it sounded fine too, but the local sheriff followed my wife out of town about five miles til she turned off the highway. Coinsidense maybe but she's not going to be happy if they stop her. By the way, how do you like your tune, especially the way the trans shifts?

Guess I will get a tune, it makes the most sense of all the options that I have. Since the car is leased it's the easiest thing to undo when the time comes to take it back. The only thing that makes me mad is that the tuner I already have is worthless. Guessing that you went to Unlimited, does their tuner have canned tunes as well as custom ones?

Hey Zack, I am about to purchase my ride and have got tips ready(yeah i am anxious about modding). The tip kinda requires at least 2.75 inch pipe so I am thinking about replacing the muffler bit with some 3 inch tip. Would this be kind of a main source of drone? Would keeping an 2.25 inch pipe be a good idea? Thanks

That short of a distance shouldn't cause any noticeable issues. You should be all set!

Just realized that I made some typo and made things confusing I guess... I am actually thinking about building an axle-back system which means some 3 inch tube + my personal tip. Would that cause some trouble?

Again it should not change much at all.
