My Camaro SS had catless headers and ran a bit rich so I'm sure I did my fair share of pollution. Now I'm driving a 36 average MPG green wiener car. I desperately want to go back to a V8. I'll at LEAST put on catted headers this time, but that's all you'll get from me.

Meh, screw the environment.

I get 23.5 MPG for daily driving. How about all those big SUVs, like Tahoes, that get 15 or so MPG? Should start there first.

My F150 4x4 Prerunner makes lots of wonderful CO2 plant food at 11mpg. It's just the expense of gas that bothers me, and stopping to fill up all the time. :D

I kinda wish the S550 had a 20 gallon tank.

Too lazy to do the math but my friends and families EcoBoost F150s get around 13-15L/100km
So far my GT w/ 2200kms on it gets 11.7L/100km. There is a HELL of a lot more F150's on the road than mustangs up here. (I think that works out to about 21MPG). And trust me, 90% of owners up here don't use trucks for what they are meant for. Lots just for daily drivers to work.

SI is around 7.8L/100km. I think that is around 28-29MPG. BUT once winter hits.. it really drops. closer to 9.5L/100km

The motor oil is recyclable. The gas mileage is what you make of it. If your really worried about mileage. You made a terrible purchase. So many 4 bangers that get 35MPG out there.
:amen:

They maybe 35mpg but they don't have they fun factor (smiles per gallon )

I posted a thread on the Shelby 350 side, and sorry I do not know how to past a link, but go to YouTube and look up Castol Nexcel. One of the best environmentally friendly ideas I've seen in years! I really hope this catches on for the auto industry. This would make oil changes and recycling to a new level!!

If a member could help with the link I would greatly appreciate it, thanks
