It wouldn't be so bad if the Mustang didn't have such a puny gas tank. That's OK, though. I'm old and drink a lot of coffee so it's not like I pass a lot of gas stations anyway. Seriously considering an aftermarket 50 gal. tank for the F-350, though. 24 gallons? What were they thinking?

I make my living machining parts for downhole drilling. I thank everyone here that drives a GT and drives it hard.

The caterpillar in our rollback takes 15 gallons of motor oil.

Just came back form my first oil change. 8 quarts....this girl is thirsty. I also fill my gas tank just about every other day. This is hands down the most environmentally hostile car I've owned.
Please. I own a 2001 Dodge ram van that's as aerodynamic as a bulldozer, corners like a battleship and is as fuel efficient as the Deepwater horizon. Compared to that my Mustang is an economy car.

Just wanted to jump in the club. My 460 79 f250 gets about 9 mpg everywhere and 15 mustang is averaging 11.5

I suspect I I get a job requiring freeway miles that'll jump 2 mpg on the truck and 10 on the car.

8 quarts? Thats cute, 5.0 V8 in the Lexus ISF/RCF/GSF takes 10 but people can easily run them to 12-13k mile oil changes because of sheer oil capacity

OP you bought the wrong car. If you are concerned about excessive oil use or fuel use, you should not be driving anything, except maybe a f--king Prius. But then you would be in denial and not really enjoying yourself while behind the wheel of the f--king Prius. Of course you would be a member of the elite owners group like all the rest of the elitists that are in denial in their f--king Prisuses..:headbonk:

Sell it and go buy a prius
I always give a wave to these Prius, smart car , and all hybrid owners as I pass them! They probably think I'm crazy, but I'm just thanking them for saving all that oil and gas for the rest of us!! Lol
Not only that they help keep the CAFE standard down across the vehicle line up so I can use more! :D

Switch to synthetic oil and extend drain intervals. One of the easiest ways to limit the impact on the environment with a vehicle. You could keep your foot out of it, but nobody wants to do that.

Anybody have a Fisker Karma on the forums? I'm guessing the Mustang Hybrid will try to hit the Karma's numbers. But the Karma is a pretty penny.

Just so I'm not completely off topic. I should start using full synthetic soon.
