Bought my trunk struts from aliexpress too. Just fitted them. One thing - has that bounce at the end of the Boot opening travel eased with use? It’s a little bit violent for my liking. There’s an image on the website that might imply they are adjustable (but I’m not sure as site is in Dutch!)

Good news the violent rising has eased over use the bad news is it has stopped auto opening now as the cheap compression spring has squashed too much ! I guess you buy cheap you buy twice.

I’ve had so many issues with Ali Express including refusal to refund defective parts I’ve deleted my account and go out of my way to tell people to avoid AE now !

Oh dear. Looks like £30 down the drain for me too. Could be worse

Video link to show brake comparison to original lights.

Hey Alfa Male,

Looking at the Vland Rear Light Sequentials:

Can you advise if you connected the 3rd Brake Light connector? or is that just for the US version?

Thanks

No I didn’t connect that cable just literally plugged it in and it works perfectly from the off. Didn’t need to change any of the settings as the factory default is exactly the way I wanted them to operate. Dead simple install.

Quality is really good too, my only gripe is the normal running side lights are marginally brighter than the OEM lights. The result being the difference between the side lights and brake lights luminance levels is not that much compared to oem. That said it’s not dangerous IMO and more the clear when the brakes are being applied, just think it would be better with a bigger light level difference.

Treated myself to an outdoor cover for the car now winter is approaching.

I am really impressed with the quality of this cover nice soft fleece lining, good heavy gauge material and fits perfectly even with the GT350R spoiler on the back and Roush chin spoiler it covers all the bolt ones perfectly

Trouble is now it’s nice and clean under the cover I’m reluctant to use the car in case I get it dirty !

Thank you - I just wanted to see under her skirt ... lol

Joking aside, I was asking because I bought a roush decklid spoiler and the paint was rubbed through on the outer corners from some sort of cover (I presume).
