Minor change this weekend, the rear “howler” badge paint has started to peel and look a bit shabby.

So in a moment of haste I ordered a Shelby cobra badge off net to replace it.

So this is it with the “Howler” badge

This is the Shelby Cobra badge

However I wasn’t keen on the look of the Cobra badge after fitting. So after that I decided to sand down the original “Howler” badge and paint it statin black.

Still not sure about the look so now gone an ordered a US style GT badge for the back in gloss black from Nemesis.

you could get a hard foam roller and use red to just get the highlights of the badge red or take to a local place and get it re enamelled

To be honest I quite like the stealth look hence opting for the Black GT badge to match the existing black badges on the Shadow Edition

I didn’t think you wanted it anymore, sorry. I’ll have a look in the garage as I can’t recall if I threw it out when I did a top run a few weeks back or not.

The wife has been working away last week so I took the opportunity to order loads of car parts in.

Managed to get some of them fitted today, enjoy...

First up was the rear deck lid badge, I changed it to the new gloss GT badge. Before fitting I did a few passes with the rotary to remove some light scratches which were bugging me.

The OEM Ford GT badge unhelpfully comes with alignment pins on the back which I had to remove before fitting.

Next up was the speed form rear light covers. Simple to install and the fit is really good.

Excellent, right I’ll message you soon and pop down one weekend and grab it

Unless you are heading north anytime soon over the next few weeks?

Another minor update today this time thanks to Spider on here !

Been looking out for a Ford Racing gearknob for a while now but couldn’t bring myself to spend £90 on a knob !

So when Spider put his up for sale I was quickly on to the case to grab it.

Nice subtle tweak to the interior, some before during fitting and after pics below. I’m not going to lie getting the retaining nut adjusted so when you tighten down the gearknob it aligns perfectly is a faff and a half took me ages to get it lined up properly !

In case you’re wondering the small remote in the background is for the active exhaust !
