Well. We've done a lot of thinking and the conclusion is Double wishbones are better than Mac Struts. Der.
But, we're going McPherson because, for the use intended and with the level of driver ability we possess, the difference between the well designed and engineered Mac Strut setup we can create, and the sort of SLA we could afford/ fabricate, is going to be negligible.
Unfortunately, cost is a consideration and our set up will have anti-dive, adjustment for caster and camber plus tweakable ride height, damping, rebound blah blah blah. I reckon we'll be alright...
