Just another case of magazine driving. Anyone who has driven a 2019+ charger and challenger, one, know the two cars are vastly different in feel and handling, and, two, when compared to a 2019+ gt, the charger can and will hold its own. What I can agree with is the gt will outhandle the charger, however you have to get to that point, the car doesn't just start out driving like a bowling bowl. if someone thinks that then either they drove the charger with factory wheels/tires, those little all seasons are a joke for that car, or they just haven't driven the scatUmmmm...both Challenger and Charger have IRS...

Maybe, I don't know, do some research before saying a bunch of dumb shit![]()
THAT is the key. All of these cars (including the S550 GT) already have too much power for just 2WD. If you turned off traction control, these cars just sit there smoking tires, so I can imagine what 700+ HP would do. But, make an AWD model and the car would launch hard and fast. I guess that's why some Diablos had AWD options, not only does it accelerate faster, but handles well even going around corners under power. I don't know how they'd implement that into a Mustang though someone mentioned a hybrid in which case if they kept the current RWD configuration and was able to mount electric motors on each front wheel, that would give them the AWD capability.Tell me an AWD Hellcat Charger wouldn't be the bee's knees![]()
I assumed that v6 AWD was a test for this initial thing.Tell me an AWD Hellcat Charger wouldn't be the bee's knees![]()
A suspected AWD mustang was seen around the roads, the rear brakes were reversed hinting at AWD.THAT is the key. All of these cars (including the S550 GT) already have too much power for just 2WD. The only changes I would have made:Yes! This would have been the engine!

Mostly due to its weight and the tranny having a rep for not taking added power well. If it had something like a new DCT it would have been a solid Audi/BMW fighter.A truly under appreciated AWD car was the Taurus SHO. I owned one with the performance pack. Fantastic driving car. With stock tires and a tune only the turned a 12.99 @106mph. Handled very good. Excellent brakes. My son owns it and he changed some minor stuff and it is quicker by a good 2 tenths. He's got 90K Mike's on it and runs very strong. Easily take my M1 up to 60.
I had no idea that even existed. If it did I probably would have looked for one when I was car hunting in 2018.They used to offer an AWD R/T. It got the axe with the 2015 refresh. I almost bought one, but couldn't find exactly what I wanted feature-wise. Powerwise, I also knew I would immediately be throwing boost at it.
