So this is exactly what I've been told in Ford dealership today. Can't find anything that would indicate RP meets Ford spec. Dealership offered to submit a question to Ford engineering and reschedule me...I've been to 2 tranny shops today and both told me that changing the fluid would probably void the warranty. Anyone know if this is true? Transmission is very noisy and wanted to try using Royal Purple but I do not want to void the warranty.

MT82 does call for the XT-11-QDCQ: Will this work on a 2015 Mustang GT with a manual transmission?
A: If your transmission calls for Ford XT-11-QDC, the Synchromax is the correct Royal Purple product. Here is the reference guide from RP: http://www.royalpurpleconsumer.com/...le_Transmission_Lubricant_Cross_Reference.pdf
See page 281 from: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/F...-Owners-Manual-version-1_om_EN-US_07_2014.pdf
I saw that. Only thing it says is what RP recommends for QDC which is Motorcraft fluid. It absolutely nowhere says it meets the spec WS-somethingQ&A from:

Found my own answer. Guide was posted on the first pageRoyal Purple Synchromax has the additive already

Can't imagine that they would recomend it's use in the owners manual and not put it in at the factory. While I cannot prove anything, I feel confident the XL-18 was not added to the stock fill.
