You’d have to build a jig to heat treat those forks after welding to straighten them out and bring the strength back. Aluminum distorts a ton when welded, all else being equal. Especially fillets like those shown, and welding castings can have variable results depending on the casting quality and alloy. I’ve done a fair bit of aluminum welding and I don’t think I’d take those on, would recommend billet if possible.
