It's all going to be in the prep. Bad prep and it doesn't matter how good the product is. You can easily do this yourself, but only if it saves you enough money to do it three times over. Otherwise, pay someone else and get the warranty. A badly prepped floor would likely last through any warranty period, though.
We’re paying to have ours done again. I just want to be ready to move in when the house is ready. I’m already going to have a ton of work that I’ll need to get done in order to get settled as quickly as possible. With both garages there’s 1744 sqft of floor that will need to be done and that’s more then I wanna tackle this time around.

It looks good. No residual on the walls which shows they exercised care in the application process. How many topcoats did they put down? How long is the warranty on it?

1 top coat, he uses a medium thickness so it's durable but has some grip with an orange peel type texture..residential lifetime warranty against peeling or chipping.

By the way I forgot to answer your previous question. He did use a diamond grinder to prep the floor before application.

By the way this came up on the community Facebook page when my wife was asking around for recommendations for the floor. People were complaining that their floors had tire marks on it and I asked him about that. This is what he told me which I had no idea about.

Some car tires can stain the floor after driving when they are hot it is called plasticizing...It is a chemical used in some Z rated tires called Plasticizer it's a flex agent used in tires that may leave a brown stain after driving when the tires are hot where the car or cart is parked..

Yes, that is correct. I’ve experience this in the past. It’s best to let the tires and engine cool before parking in the garage. Not only will that help with the tire marks, it also keeps the garage cooler which is huge if youā€˜re working out there.

A little more expensive than I thought it would be but I know it’s gonna be worth it when I get there. I wanted to get it done before we go out there which makes it even better when I can just pull my car in there.

Do you know what brand the product was that they used on your floor?

By the way, I never did ask. Of course I’m going to be very close to Daytona Speedway where I know I could do laps if I want to around there on certain days. Are there any drag strips near Daytona Beach that I should be aware of or close by?

I am not sure if there are any strips on the east coast near Daytona but there is Orlando speed world just east of Orlando on highway 50 that's been there years and one in Bradenton on the west coast near Tampa.

The one in West Palm Beach near Ft Lauderdale recently closed down sadly.

Those are all 1/4 miles track but there may be some 1/8 mile tracks close to Daytona that I am unaware of.
