That's a great question. If you find the answer, please let me know and I'll update the spreadsheet with the correct/updated info.

Interesting to see your 0=not on list of what it controls...what setup/options do you have on your car currently/from the factory?
I am a base car...so I have manual climate controls "single zone" with "manual buttons"...nothing comes up on my screen when I make changes to my climate...so this should be interesting. Spart I think is going to give this a go in his GT.

My guess is that this has to do with my ford touch if anything and not not Sync 3. We will have to see. :)

Ok...that's making more sense. The MFT is definitely different codes than the Sync 3. Let me know what you discover that works.

Got a USB obd finally. I got mycolor gauges as well. My question is if I copy my original cluster as built files and whatever else I can and program the new my color cluster with my old inputs would it work? Also anyone know how to turn mycolor back on as in what the value is. Reason I'm asking is that the new cluster has collision warning on, blis, adaptive cruise control, and sensing alarm, basically all the premium stuff. I am thinking it would be easier to flash the whole cluster then re-add mycolor and be done with it. Any help is much appreciated.

I think it is easier and safer to disable all the features you do not need. Do you know the changes you need to do?

Otherwise I could look them up.

I need to disable Blis, need to disable adaptive cruise control, need to disable Collision warning, need to disable the event Security package as I only have the regular standard alarm, then I need to enable the drive modes as I have installed the premium benzil and never activated it but I think I found that feature on another form I plan on installing these gauges tomorrow which will probably be actually later tonight on Saturday and try to figure all this out shouldn't be too bad since I'm on vacation this week but any help would be awesome. Also if it makes any difference I have a performance pack GT thanks

The line of code referenced in the spreadsheet is this:
7D0-01-01 : xxxx xxxx x?xx
- changing the value with the question mark will only disable the soft climate buttons for the heated seats and steering wheel.

What I am curious about is this coding:
7D0-01-01 : xxxx xxx? xxxx

According to the F150 spreadsheet, changing the value at this locaiton tells the APIM what type of climate system you have and you have HD radio as well (Climate Front Zone & HD Radio: 3=Dual Zone & HD radio avail, 2=Dual Zone & HD radio not avail, 7=Single Zone & HD radio avail, 6=Single Zone & HD radio not avail).

On my as built data sheet, I have the following code: 7D0-01-01: 0C67 9800 04E8

So to truly disable the dual climate zone soft button and settings and not have a code thrown as has been talk about earlier, I would have to change the 0 to a 6. The question is, would this affect the FCIM controls and how they function (meaning only one climate control wheel would work or both could still adjust the temp in the car).

Thanks
Okay, here's something very important I want to point out:

On my as built data sheet, I have the following code: 7D0-01-01: 0C67 9800 04E8
7D0-01-01 0C67 9800 04E8 is as-built for a BASE 4" APIM.

Do not try to apply base APIM as-built do your Sync 3 APIM! You're asking for a whole bunch of problems.

MFT and Sync 3 APIM's, while they share the same 7D0 prefix as a base APIM, have wayyyy more as-built addresses than the base 4" APIMs.

I gave this a shot, and setting it to six just got rid of any climate options in Sync 3.

I wouldn't stress about removing the passenger side controls. They don't hurt anything, they just don't do anything. Can be useful if you have a passenger and you want her to think she has control of the temperature, too. ;)

Here you go boys... let me know. This one was fun to figure out. I was previously restricted to low beams only and any other change would give an invalid configuration error in FORScan. Well this changes that...

Allow All Alternate DRL Options (Restrictions Removed - No Invalid Configuration Errors):

BdyCM (As-Built Modifications)

Allow All DRL Choices:
726-45-01: xxxx 7Fxx xxxx

Enabled DRL Selection:
726-50-01: XXxx

XX:

01 = Disabled / Parking Lights Only (See change below)
02 = Low Beams
04 = Front Fog Lamps
08 = Front Turn Lamps
10 = Dedicated DRL Lights (LED Light Bars/Strips) - Enables BCM DRL Outputs - C2280F Pins 36 (Right) and 40 (Left)
20 = High Beams
40 = Low Beams and Dedicated DRL Lights

Optional: Enable DRL Parking Lights:
Can be combined with other DRL options above
726-26-02: x1xx xxxx xxxx

Optional: Disable DRL Switchback w/Turn Signal:
726-26-02: xxx0 xxxx xxxx

On/Off for these is controlled from the Instrument Cluster DRL Control.

I know many of you change wiring and such to accomplish some of these which can be now changed in seconds... so enjoy!
Anyone actually get this working on a Mustang?

I tried it today, and while I have the DRL on/off option in the IPC now, my fog lights aren't coming on as DRLs. And yes, I released the parking brake, car is a manual. They come on normally when I turn the headlights on of course so they're not burnt out or anything.

Has anyone run across the coding for the following:

1) Increasing fan speed of the TED’s in the seats for cooling/heating? This would be for the leather seats that have the cooling and heating capabilities. I had come across a TSB for the Lincoln’s where there was a blurb to modify the settings, so I’m wondering if the same can be done for the 2015-2017’s where folks are experiencing lack of cooling/heating.

2) Turn off the auto dash cluster illumination change. The little sensor on top center of dash - once it detects daylight, it will change the dash illumination from your My Color or set color illumination over to white. Can this be fixed so that whatever color is chosen, the illumination won’t flip to white in the daylight?

3) 6R80 or 10R80 specific (with analog dash cluster): Is there any way to display the trans gear # all the time and not just when the Driver is manually changing the gears?

Thx

It's working on my ‘15 manual gt.

You need to release the parking brake AND light switch has to be set to AUTO.
If one of the conditions is not met, the fogs won’t come on.

Is the ELM327 incapable of reading IPC and ABS modules? These options are not appearing when I connect

Not all ELM327 adapters are created equally, virtually all of them are shitty knock-offs.

I recommend people get the ODBLink MX Bluetooth for this reason.
