Yep, I’ve seen the line of text.
The picture tells a different story though. It highlights “BCMii” and “Automatic locking by speed”. Look at all the other options shown there, those are all BCM options.
The Nav in motion setting is not there but to be found in the APIM as-built.

Can anything be changed with Forscan to remove the speed limiter that's set for 165?

That cannot be changed using ForScan. This is something that can only be done with a tuner.

To be honest 165 is really freaking fast. I mean I've gotten my car going pretty fast and I don't have a speed limiter, but I've never hit 165... Can you even get a stock coyote to go faster then that unless its downhill with a tail wind? If it isn't stock you're going to have a tune anyways.

US cars are limited to 165 miles???
Our Canadian cars are limit at 165km/hr. 165miles/hour is like 265 km/hr. If your going that fast it needs to be on the autobahn

You're limited to 102MPH? That seems really slow. I mean I hit 112mph yesterday...

I don't know what our speed limiter actually is. I've hit about 154mph at the fastest so I've never hit the limiter. Once you shift into 6th it does not accelerate very fast anymore... 145-155 takes way too long.

You're correct. It's just a mental thing knowing that I'm not "limited". :)

There's nowhere I can go that fast. I can get on the VIR track for fun, but I'll be lucky to be doing over 125 down it's back straight.

Then you don't need a tune, you just need a hypnotist. But don't tell Ford because hypnosis voids the power train warranty.

Too funny! "you're going faster than you think... you're speed is not limited... you can break 200 mph if you desire... " :D:D:D

Over 2000 posts in this thread, classic. Betting every detail someone would want to know is burried in here somewhere. I only made it up to post 684 before giving up and just posting my questions below.

My question is, is it better to buy a WiFi OBD2 adapter or one with a USB cable. Also seems like I should buy one that’s been modified to have a little switch on the side of the adapter?

Buy the OBDLink MX. You can also get one for half the price with a switch. The MX doesn’t require a switch but works on all busses. USB only matters if you are actually updating module software which like less then 1% or FORScan users ever do.

What is the switch for?
The s550’s have 4 CAN Bus’. HS-CAN, HS-CAN 2, HS-CAN 3, and MS-CAN. The ELM327 only allows connection to the HS-CAN. The switch connects to the other busses.

If you are in the US, you can buy the following USB adapter:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/ELM327-USB...300378&hash=item3f509ce833:g:YOEAAOSwrklVTSVa

If you are in Europe you can buy the following one:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ELM327-U...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

They work perfectly with FORSCAN, as they can read and write HS and MS-CAN modules, without the need of an expensive Bluetooth or WiFi adapter. I use the second one for over a year without any issues at all.
