Ohhh so manuals ARE faster!?the only stock difference in top speed is the following:
manual cars: 168mph
auto cars: 155mph
That's a joke, right?the only stock difference in top speed is the following:
manual cars: 168mph
auto cars: 155mph
IIRC, the top speed limiter for an S550 GT is set at a nominal 155. The tune for the Bullitt upped that to a nominal 163. The Mach 1 bumped that to a nominal 166. Transmission type is not a factor. That's a joke, right?
I thought they're all limited to 155.
This. The only things that change with the various modes are throttle sensitivity and shift logic (for the auto). If you have the optional active suspension and/or exhaust then those are also affected by your mode selection.100% throttle is 100% throttle in any mode and I understand that the engine map doesn’t change i.e. same power in all modes
I believe shift strategy changes in an auto

If you don't have either GT or Brembo brakes (4 or 6 piston fronts) its limited to 121 mph. So non HPP ecoboosts will only do 121 mph.the only stock difference in top speed is the following:
manual cars: 168mph
auto cars: 155mph
That's a joke, right?
I thought they're all limited to 155.
Can you go out and test this theory and report back? A LEO radar reading will suffice as proof.![]()
i'd say maybe its the mach 1 but ford says its auto goes to 166.
