SeaIce, my car currently has a NAPA PFL-7502 filter. I installed it and it was easy to thread on. I agree that it probably has damaged threads.
Take it back to a local NAPA for an exchange.
How do I remove the information bar displayed on the digital dash? I've looked in the manual, searched in the menus on the car and searched online. The radio screen has the songs title and radio station, so I don't need it displayed on top of the tach.
OP, what did you install? Tell us about it.
I'm going to replace my differential fluid soon. I'm going to buy Amsoil 75W-90 Severe Gear lube. The friction additive is already in the lube.

Sir, welcome to the forum. You have a nice car. Congratulations on almost finishing school.
For mods, superchargers are street friendly but not as easy to tune as turbos. However, superchargers on the street are usually "set and forget" because they don't require much tuning after the car is...
Today I switched to track mode and floored it from a stop. It instantly smoked the tires. The weather was cool and I had not done a burnout to warm the tires.
The nearest dragstrip is a 150 mile round trip. I'm not sure if they're still running this late in the year.
All I want is to get...
Generally, yes. My last car needed a socket to remove the canister. The socket was nice because I could easily torque the canister to the OEM spec of 18 ft./lbs.

My 2019 GT is stock, other than the dealer installed Roush supercharger. It has 20" wheels and a 3.15 gear.
When leaving from a stop, first and second gear have lower acceleration that I expected. In third gear the car wakes up and the front end lifts higher.
Will a custom tune fix that? Is...
What is your favorite oil filter wrench?
Since Ford requires 180 degrees of rotation after the oil filter contacts the block, I'd like the ability to tighten the filter as well.
In the past, I have used a band style with a handle, but not with a 3/8" ratchet drive. I've used large Channel Lok...
Does anyone know of a roadrace oriented car/chassis builder?
Tim McAmis has a great channel, but he only works on drag race cars.

I needed to replace my old BMW and wanted something different. I drove a late model Camaro and hated it. The windows prevented reasonable vision, the back seat was too small for my young son and the trunk opening was tiny. I then drove a nearly new Mercedes C43 AMG and was not impressed. It was...
I called Roush and asked about supercharger maintenance. The lady said that the TVS R2650 oil will never need to be changed for the lifetime of the car. I asked what Ford and Roush considered to be "lifetime", but she didn't have a good answer. There is a drain plug in the back of the...
Eaton makes a lot of the superchargers for our cars. I bought my car used with a dealer installed Roush supercharger. It is an Eaton TVS R2650 with a Roush nameplate.

My car is a LOT of fun to drive. I'm very happy with...
If I install Steeda Ultralite springs #555-8211 (200 lbs./inch front and 800 lbs./inch rear), with the springs overwhelm the stock struts and shocks?
Stock struts/shocks usually don't have enough rebound damping for really stiff springs. However, these are approximately 25% stiffer than OEM.
What I've learned in this thread is that most of the people on this forum are intelligent and helpful. However, a few never climbed the evolutionary ladder and are afraid to read something negative about a car that does not belong to them, from someone they don't know.
As for economies of...
