I hit the limiter a couple times in my '15 V6. (125, I think.) My '19 GT gets to 125 a lot more quickly but the highest I've gone is about 133 before easing up.

I'm sure that is an entirely different experience. No, thanks for me.

Yes, but how fast have you been in a car?
More specifically, an s550 Mustang.
Don’t think I’ve been over 100. Too many Ohio troopers. My spurt is flooring it onto the highway then seeing troopers and hitting brakes to slow to 70
Lame

Yeah I've heard Ohio is the worst state for speeding.
It pretty much is, I lived there for 15 years, and I-80 in particular is just loaded with Troopers ready to take your money. I remember one time I was chilling at around 75, and some SRT8 Jeep passed me doing like 100. I laughed and said I'm sure he'll get nabbed quick. Not 3 minutes later I passed him on the side of the road with the new friend he had made.

I would even get passed by Troopers who had just clocked on racing to their spot for that day, lol. Good thing I didn't drive anything remarkable at the time.

I live 2 minutes up road from state highway patrol head quarters. I pass about 10 a day.
I’m not dumb, but... if you are in a chit heap car with duck tape panels or a minivan with 10 kids you can pass going 100 they seem to ignore them.

All the cops ignore those cars, seeing them double speed limits. Run red lights and stop signs with no fear.— there’s political reasons for this. Will leave it at that.

they hit the nice cars.

oh, and my area does Speeding and shit by drones and aircraft too. Even if cops aren’t out. Our highway is hit by aircraft and you will get tickets in mail from them.

My motorcycle doesn’t have fear of those however since my plate is under tail facing ground.

I live at the heart of it all. I-75 and I-70 interconnect. Largest Drug and human trafficking intersect in country Atleast that’s what they claim

I’ve seen them disappointed to see me. They hurry turn around point the lidar at me, to find out little penguin going 65 in 65. I look fast. But I’m all show and no play lol

Yeah, because commercial drivers have to play ball, so they can be extorted.
I still have my commercial license after all these years, as a backup of sorts since railroad work is often somewhat volatile. Makes me even more vulnerable to getting caught "playing", lol. I try to follow the "under 20 over" rule just so that if I do get cock slapped, at least I have a good chance of getting it reduced to a non moving violation.

Well, I've been up to about 115 in this one before I began to reach traffic. I may take it out again and see where my nerves catch up. Back when, in my 72, ( I've posted a picture of it in the showcase) I got up to 145 or so before it felt like it wanted to fly into the Ponchartrain.

Jacksonville has become a police flooded city, but not in the good way... i just see a million cops pulling people over like crazy everywhere, but its all about the money. The mayor said we need money for road projects and shit... proposed a new tax for gas, deployed a trillion cops, etc...

every time i take the mustang out i drive it really soulless, specially at night... i hate it.

It’s not fair though how they target in my area. I worked in alaska and we hit everyone, here... we have a billion cops, driving around, everywhere except the ghetto areas, they will not stop anyone for any reason, they are literally stopped at stoplights and then just take off while still red. Or just speed up and blow red lights. Zero fear of speed limits or laws

they only come by when there’s domestic and assault and barely Robery. We had Best Buy, target, etc all leave because there was robbings everyday and no one would even come out for enforcement.

just areal bad drug city, but cops only go after the $$ areas.People don’t even have license plates on cars here, they just drive around smash into eachother and drive away.

last rant, we’ve been having guys at 3am flying up abs down our side streets here ripping it. Isaw a local cop and I asked if there’s been any reports about it

he said tons, but they don’t stop forus, they just run and we are no longer allowed to pursue unless it’s a felony / assault murder type deal. So he said there’s no point.

blah. So now I wake up to stupid car and truck ripping around my neighborhoods racing at 3am and the cops won’t even try to tell them to stop because they simply drive off.

5 years ago none of this would of flown. But it’s a way different precedent with all the criminals being glorified on news no one wants to become a “bad cop” by enforcing any law.

I’m in trotwood dayton area... awful awful people in general. 20 mins away in money areas, cops, pulls, tickets, enforcement. Nicer areas.

not the “down on their luck areas” basically no mans land. And i happen to live right on the border, so it really sucks for me.
