I was wondering if it would be an okay idea to mod a mustang with higher mileage.

I have a 2015 Mustang Gt Premium with 92k miles. I bought the car used recently. I don’t have money to rebuild the engine or anything like that, and I’m not expecting to boost it. I was wondering if my mustang would be ok with an intake and a tune or even headers. I daily drive the car too.

Would my mustang be able to handle light bolt ons and a tune? Or should I keep it stock and save up to buy a newer mustang later.

I wasn't able to get my TT kit until I was at 48k miles. I'm close to 52k now and the car is loving it so far. Mine is a DD too and I drive it hard. These cars handle power well. I wouldn't even think twice or worry about bolt ons. Have fun OP.

Mod away.. Perfect situation for modding.

But, I wouldn't do too much more whiteout money set aside for a new engine. Oh great now I'm a boomer..

Dude you got people modding SN95’s and your worried about a Gen 2 Coyote? If they were properly used miles I don’t see why not. These engines can handle 600whp all day with just oil pump gears.
