Hello,

I have an ‘18 GT S550. My buddy has same body style GT350. He has a JLT cold air intake that he’s not using. Will that fit mine? I’m assuming no as the TB might be different as is the brackets / hoses but I thought I’d ask.

Thank you for the help!

I think it can, might need a different silicone coupler for from the tube to TB.

Will need a tune though I think

Ok it looks like it’s going to fit. My next question is do I have to get a tune? It’s just an intake.

Yes. The tube diameter for the 350 is different so the MAF transfer function has to be updated with a tune. Otherwise the car will have to keep adding extra fuel to bring the AFR in spec which can set codes or cause drivability issues.

It should run without a tune, but like was said the trims will be off.

Thank you for this info. Does the same go if I have the JLT CAI that’s made for my car instead? My wife purchased the JLT for my car the other day (my bday is Monday) then my buddy located his (gt350) in the garage and gave it to me

If I use the JLT made for my car, I still need to get a tune?

Depends on which JLT. If it is listed as no tune required it will work.

The stock 18 cai is really good, might want to spend your money elsewhere unless you just like the look.

You can with adapter. I used a 18 with a mani and TB of a 350.
Call them directly and ask for the adapters. (You need a tune for a jlt if bigger Tube)

As member tdstuart has figured out the PMAS 120mm and JLT 120mm transfers are close enough. With that said and off the cuff one could reason that the PMAS 120mm No-Tune MAF sensor would work if installed into the JLT 120mm CAI thus making the JLT No-Tune required.
