Question about the Tower Strut: I own a 2012 GT 50 auto Trans with the tower strut brace and have ordered and received a 2015 GT 50 automatic Trans. After receiving the GT and opening the hood I saw the Tower Strut brace was missing, so I thought, but found out they only place the Strut on GT's with the performance package. Why would the GT without the Performace pkgt not be subject to a problem of stability like the GT's with the performance package?
Since I just received the GT on a special order was wondering if that is the case with everyone without the performance package not having the Tower brace?

Yup that is the case. Only GTs with PP and GT Convertibles get the brace.

Really? I did not know that. Learn something new every day.
I was reading wrong... and I edited it above. You get the black brace with the 20" rims.

I will leave my thumbs up. I am sure you deserve it for something else

While the non-PPs don't have the brace, most of us old-time Mustang guys will tell you this car doesn't need it very badly. While you could tell if a Fox Mustang had been braced just by driving it (such a wet noodle without a STB!), 89Trooper noted he really wasn't sure he could tell a difference after he installed the brace on his car. Mine certainly doesn't feel like it needs one, at least for the "sporting" driving I do. If you are a real flogger, it's possible you would disagree.

This looks like a good place to ask vs a new thread. The strut tower brace seems to interfere with removing the oil dipstick on the V8. Anyone bend their dipstick?

Remove it in front of the STB and no issues. Makes it much easier than going behind the STB to remove it.
