Factory OEM on the new Corvettes

Do the factory corvettes actually come with the s 5?! I would have assumed Cup 2s. Crazy!

I was joking around above but the article did say the Vette, Lucid, Ferrari were among the OEM recipients of the new S5

I just bought the Continental Extreme Contact 02's. Haven't put them on yet but will soon. Was considering the Pilot Sport 4S but my car is just a daily and I wanted to save a few bucks but still have good performance. If I had a newer stang, I might have went with the 4S. I also found an article on the Conti's that sounded pretty appealing so I though I'd give them a try. Also, my neighbor has them on his Cobra and seems to like them. Yeah, definitely not available lol. I had a feeling you were referring to those tires, which definitely aren’t the new version of the pilot
Sport 4s. Those are the newer version of the Pilot Sport 4 (without the “S”) and are still lower in performance when compared to the 4S. The new version of the 4S will be the S 5 which you cannot buy yet. Pilot sport 4<pilot sport 5< pilot sport 4S< pilot sport 5s. The names can be confusing, but in this category, the best Michelin option currently is still the 4S.

It seems I was mistaken! My buddy explained the difference before I read your post and you’re exactly right. It’s not fair he gets to test the Pilot s 5 on his v6 camaro :(((

Base corvette comes with Pilot All Seasons, then Z51 moves up to 4S
