I'm guessing you meant to write Nitto 555g2? If he ran those on all four corners, I bet they did suck.

MPS4's is a great street tire. I've only noticed the cup 2's are way better from 7.5/10ths and up. Never drove the Cup 2's in the rain , I hear their not much good. My friend just bought the Nitto 555 v2 for his ZL1 and hates them

Suck is an understatement. In dry pavement they are bad but in wet pavement they are just plain terrible. I lost control going 35 mph, thank god no one was around and I didn’t hit anything

Glad I am not the only person who hates the NT5555G2's. I have them on my GTI and they feel like slicks in the rain. In the dry, they really don't grip any better than the G-Max AS I use during the winter months. I am replacing them asap. Just ordered some Conti Extreme Contact Sport 02's for my Mustang. They arrive Wednesday!

Soulja4187, I am also in South FL and I concur that the NT555G2 is dangerous, especially in the rain. Mine are 50% worn on all 4 corners and pretty much done from a safety concern. With rain on the turnpike or 95, I am afraid to go over 60mph. Indy 500's next, and soon.

Im actually going to get Michelin’s 315/35R20 pilot super sports for the rears and 295/35R20 pilot sport 4s for the fronts. I took the car out this weekend for 20 minutes and man I missed driving it. I been sick so I truly haven’t driven it much but I did get caught in some bad weather so I had to cruise back home.

Love my Conti ECS's, I was shocked by how quiet and smooth they run. That being said, they are solid with grip. Went to my first HPDE event and the one takeaway from my instructor was 'don't change the tires, they are great'!
