this car has a second gear? I just thought it started in 3rdIts the centering spring. I've thought about it (or thought about seeing if I could get a lighter spring) as there's a bit more shift effort going from 3->2 than with the stock shifter. Every upshift is fantastic, but the 3-2 became considerably slower. A weighted knob could help with that some.
My favorite change to the 350 despite it, the MGW is just top notch.
You are correct! It's an 8 - speed Tremec with the two lowest gears locked out from the factorythis car has a second gear? I just thought it started in 3rd
HA. For me, she's a 3 speedYou are correct! It's an 8 - speed Tremec with the two lowest gears locked out from the factory
And those speeds are "Fast", "Faster", and "Fastest" ?HA. For me, she's a 3 speed
you've not lived until you've blasted out of a slow corner in 2nd (or in the MagXL car, first, lolol)HA. For me, she's a 3 speed
I thought so. The weighted knob from raceseng is really heavy... 675 grams. It just about shifts itself.A weighted knob really makes that much difference?
I've had my MGW apart to experiment with springs. The spring you're talking about is inside the red anodized column on the shifter and is easily swapped out.You sure that spring isn't for entering reverse?
This car comes equipped with lots of things most of us never use. In your case, that's three gears...HA. For me, she's a 3 speed
