IIRC, one of our more prominent members made the statement in one of the header threads that as the factory headers flow quite nicely, simply deleting the cats would be the best and simplest way to provide hp/torque gains. I already have Leatheals X-pipe/resonator delete in line. As such, I'm looking at these from bline motorsports:

:cwl: Given the latest debacle with the C8, I sure as hell won't be buying one any time soon ............ Geesh ! Between the DCT locking up, the new valve spring breaking issue and, the fed issuing a "Stop Sell" order this past week because of issues with the E brake system. Quite frankly, both Tadge Junkter and Mary Barra need to be fired.

I had to remove a cat once also. Actually, it removed itself. Once I hit it, it fell out of the grill on its own about a mile later! Hahhahaha. (True story btw).

But seriously, I’m in the same boat. I’ve been following this topic and B-Line intently for quite some time, and currently waiting on them to finish some in development products. Here’s what I have learned...even with B-Lines impeccable quality, CELs with no cats are hit or miss. That’s a topic I personally have chosen to avoid. Their high flow cats have not thrown CELs. They have been out of stock of cats for quite some time due to working with a new vendor on supplies to make them in house. They are also working on making resonated x-pipe with some options on resonator size. I am patiently waiting on them to finish both of these.

:) Just got off the phone with them. Great that they are open 6 days a week till 5 pm, CA time. Evidently, they have a 2 week backlog on the cat delete w/resonator kits. They cannot build them fast enough. That's the position many would like to be in. In fact, they are scheduled out into February for on site installs.

He doesn't mind the manufacturing end of the business. Heck, it's more tax money in his eyes

That man is certifiably nuts! I don't understand why the people in California keep electing these people! Are there no common sense people left in the State?

They’ve been saying their high flow cat pipes would be available early Sep. Might as well move along to my suspension project and circle back later .

Very few it seems ........................ Sadly, my oldest daughter is amongst that group. The tip off was her insistence on attending college at the U of W in Madison. :explode:
