The rear was lifted as well, just on shorter jack stands. It sufficed. More space is generally better but it worked fine to get me underneath on a creeper and do what I needed. The work to be done is at the transmission, space farther back isn't really necessary.I saw that you only lifted the front end - was that adequate orlooking back would it have been easier if you had lifted the entire car?
