Maximum tire size for squared set up

I was wondering what is the largest diameter and width tire fitment for a stock 2017 GT California Special Convertable? What rim width and what offset should be used? I want to keep the tire just inside the top of the fender well. I like the bold stance look. Thanks in advance of any information or tips.

I'm running 285/35 squared on 19X10's. Might be able to pull off 295's but it could be close up front.

On your stock wheels? 255/40R19 is widest recommended tire.

11" wide wheels and 305/30R19 tires can fit on all four corners, but requires extended studs and slip-on spacers on the front to make it fit. That is considered a track setup only, not recommended for daily use. A typical setup is 19x10 +35 all around with 285/35R19 tires.

285 35 19s will require atleast 1" spacer on the front, even 275 40 19's require atleast 1" spacer on the front, atleast with 2018's, and that is without magnaride. Not sure about magnaride setups.

No, not with a proper offset wheel (19x10 +35). That's just not true.

True I was thinking OEM rear pp1 wheels sorry about that. Wondering why the 305's would require spacers even with proper offset?

305s only require spacers if you want to run square wheels. You can run 305s on both corners w/o spacers if you run different and specific offsets front and rear. PP2 does this for example, and at least one aftermarket manufacturer offers wheel offsets suitable for fitting no-spacer 11"s with 305s.

305s only require spacers if you want to run square wheels. You can run 305s on both corners w/o spacers if you run different and specific offsets front and rear. PP2 does this for example, and at least one aftermarket manufacturer offers wheel offsets suitable for fitting no-spacer 11"s with 305s.

Performance Pack 1 or Performance Pack 2 factory option packages. Not to be confused with PP1/PP2/PP3 meaning the dealer installed “power pack” engine mods.

PP1 cars get wider wheels (9” fronts and 9.5” rears with 255/275 MP4S tires, torsen diff with 3.73 gears, and different springs, swaybars (and other bits). PP2 equipped cars get 10.5” front wheels and 11” rear wheels from the factory with 305 Sport Cup 2 tires on both ends, and additional different springs and other bits and bobs.
