Hey guys, I have a set of 20" X 10.5" +27, hub fits perfectly, fitted with 255s rims sitting in my garage I wanted to know if there is any possible way to fit them without rubbing. Would spacers do anything?

That offset seems low, and spacers will make it even worse.

What you need is lots of camber to tuck them in the wheel wells, but with ridiculously stretched tires you should be ok.

would you consider stretched 255s? 275s?

I'm a bit worried about the offset, i don't want it to stick out too much.

I actually have 19x10.5" rims, so here's the scoop.

1) 255 tires are too small. You should have a 285 or 295, maybe 305. 275 at minimum.
2) My wheels are 10.5" ET 35 offset and they fit at all 4 corners (the front is about 2-3mm from the strut so anything more than 285 tire without a spacer is going to rub)
3) I run an 8mm spacer up front which makes the front offset basically 27. I have not put the spacer in the rear but the rear wheels are right about as far as I'd go for clearance, personally.

For a 10.5" square setup, I recommend what I have - 35 offset wheels that are hubcentric and 8mm spacers up front (can get from OPMustang.com). Looks perfect. My build log / instagram has pictures.

Do you run spacers for strut clearance? Or just a more flush look?

Hi,
Is a square 295/35/20 possible?
Hard to find non BMW-spec 285/35/20 here in Europe if going for Michelin PS4S

I have 19x10.5ā€™s with +30 on the front and I mounted them on the rear one night when I had the car in the air just to see how theyā€™d fit. Hereā€™s a couple pics, rear camber is at -1.7 degrees. Keep in mind, these are 295/35ā€™s MPSS so the rim protector is to blame for some of the poke

Ok that's some serious poke, but i'm aiming for ET 38-43 or so on 20x10 wheels. Can't have any poke over here... I've got 2-3 mm now with the stock 275/40/19 PZeros and 25mm spacer. I'm lowered with Eibach pro-kit 1,1" front and 1" back and camber -2* .

That should be good for what youā€™re looking to do. I havenā€™t done any camber correction yet so after lowering Iā€™m at about -1.2 in the front. I LOVE the way a 10.5 +30 fits in the front, but itā€™s a little much on the rear. Iā€™m not racing the car yet so anything over -2 degrees is really hurting more than itā€™s helping in my situation, which is why someone would need for a 10.5 +30 to fit in the rear without poke

Thanks for your input!

My aim is actually to copy BrantMcE here with his awesome square 285/35/20 setup on 20x10 ET 35 Stance SF07 rims. I guess I could go for a 275 in the front but then it'll be more of a staggered fitment even if it's 20x10 both in the front and back, due to the diameter of the tire; more stretch and less side-wall.

A little more rubber in the back than the 275 stock would be nice too, so 295R and 275F on 10" might be where i end up if I don't find good tires, but 285 x 4 would give nice balance to the car I think as I feel it want's to understeer slightly when pushing it.
