I keep hitting the limiter between shifts (manual) . I can’t tell but tuner says log shows I’m flaring a bit . The limiter causes a delay when I shift into the next gear. Can this delay be tuned out? I can’t seem to modify my driving to shift at 7500 and not flare between shifts. I think I’m losing ET. Anyone solve this issue?

Id say you need to shift sooner... not good to hit the limiter when you're trying to go fast.

Shifting at 7500 but as I depress clutch and lift throttle I get a little flare and tag a limiter. It happens so fast you can’t see on the tach or hear anything. The limiter being tagged causes a delay before allowing throttle. It’s not like I’m hammering the limiter in gear.

What modifications do you have?

Why not just lift the limiter to 8k?

I think its at 7900. I was considering a WOT Box and just power shifting. Maybe I need to modify my driving but I don't see how I could shift fast without having some throttle in and the clutch at the same time for a brief moment.

Practice between left and right feet.

I liked having a wot box. Definitely helps make smooth shifts.

That and keep in mind that the tacho isn’t 100% accurate.
I guess I never thought about that. Things are happening fast and I try to shift at 7500 but you know how that goes.

Will the WOT box work even if I lift the throttle or only for full throttle shifts?
It goes of voltage and the clutch switch. You can adjust it to active at lower voltage. But there's no reason to lift while having it.

Throttle by wire causes this. .. it doesn't close the throttle as quickly as your foot can lift off the accelerator pedal during shifts. Doesn't seem to be as much of a issue if shifting below 7500, but when going to or past 7500 then it can flare some between shifts. You won't hear it or see it on the tach as mentioned. But if you have a shift light that records the highest RPM reached you will see it. For me I shift at 7500 and it flares to 7700-7800.

There you go! Keep it on the floor and run through the gears.
