Look past the wrap.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/166875226276

& watch video, before dismissin as a complete j/k... 😁
owner takes care of his stuff I'd suspect.

Nicely optioned/modded car @ ~$100k.
No idea what base color under the flip flop wrap is.

Thanks brother, I appreciate the lookout. That wrap though 😬. Mod list looks tasteful but I’d really prefer to start from stock and non-CFTP. $100k isn’t bad for a CFTP though, I’ve seen them as high as $125k here.

When you have a wrap like that, they don't even need a license plate to track you down.
And if somebody says they saw you somewhere, you have no plausible deniability to say it was somebody else. There is one other guy around here that has a black coupe with 20" OEM wheels, and that is a good thing.

Obviously above everyone's comprehension here, judging by the comments - that this car can be bought cheap for what's being offered. Even Stevie Wonder could see that situation.

too bad wraps don't come off cars in just a few hrs.. šŸ™„šŸ˜…

Don't tell the seller though -

it's why someone not in this thread, is gonna buy this car for a sizeable discount. šŸ˜†

The bigger issue is if they used blades on the body during the install and cut the paint. You would think not but only one way to fins out. It’s really prevelant on ppf installers that are hand cutting on cars that don’t have access to the patterns.

What's your ideal spec? Let's see the exact "must haves" and "have nots".

Ideal spec is easy. Any of the 3 Grabber colors, non-CFTP. Bone stock. Recaro’s. Prefer black stripes but not a must have. Black roof also a nice to have but not a must.

My problem is, I’m looking at a couple other cars and they’re all very different. And I can’t make up my mind (I can only do one at the moment) because they’re all really good in their own right. Still looking at 500’s but also C7 Grand Sport’s and I’ve got a potential opportunity on a super low mileage Trans Am WS6. The WS6’s are getting harder to find in such good condition so I’m actually leaning that route with the idea of adding the GS and 500 later down the road. But the one I’m looking at isn’t actually for sale…yet.

I suffer terribly from indecision so I’m having a hard time pulling the trigger on any of them as I won’t be able to add the others for a little while. First world problems to be sure but that’s why I don’t have one in the garage yet.

I've owned all of those through my lifetime. The C7 (Z06) had wheel issues. Cracked 2 rims in a year. WS6 is cool. You'll probably tire of its antiquity and emissions stinking up your garage. That leaves just one. šŸ˜‰

You can see scratches under PPF, and any installer worth the money knows how to use a blade without touching the paint. Pattern installers are either lazy, cheap, or uneducated in custom installation.

That’s all a complete crock of shxt. No installer is getting near any of my cars with a blade because they don’t have the equipment(to cheap to buy a plotter) or buy enough material to have access to the patterns. Xpel has the best patterns in the business but they don’t come for free. Even the best ā€œcustom installerā€ makes mistakes. I’ve painted literally thousands of cars. Blade cuts are right there with vehicles getting keyed in pain in the … to do a repair. I can’t even count how many cars Iā€˜ve seen where some ā€œcustom installerā€ has left blade marks on the body of a car. A very good friend of mine does all my stuff. His shop is part of a high end body shop here. They have a brand new 911 in there now that the dealer sent the car to a ā€custom installerā€ to try and make more on the backend of the ppf instsllation then paying him to do it. 1/2 the car is being detrimmed to be repainted because thereā€˜s blade marks on the front end and quarters. It’s a 12-15k repair.
