This was the first MR car my local dealer got in and it was also the first facelift. Rear tyre gap doesn’t look as big as some I have seen :

But that could be very subjective due to my arse being sat in it and the angle of the photo etc but ...

Toady I got to view two new unregistered UK cars, sat side by side for comparison. The green one is a MR car :

Rear - two fingers are a tight fit / won’t go in ( :cwl:) :
I think I'm sticking with my previous assessment - here:

OK, this is an interesting one: there's nothing documenting there's a "by design" lower ride height for PP1/MR cars - however, I'll swear mine sits lower. I'm running aftermarket 20" wheels (from the previous car), and the tire-to-fender gap looks smaller, in fact, it sits so nice, I've kind of abandoned the idea of lowering springs (I had BMR SP080s on the '16).

Yes I agree, I see a small but definite difference in the cars I viewed today :like:

It would appear that UK MagneRide cars may actually be a little different ... ?

Make your own mind up :

Extra clearance on this one :

Exactly the same on the front :

Green MR car sits a little lower, even considering the fall of the ground :

It’s difficult to judge, but I also think the MR cars rears sit a little further out ? (Check the fist comparison photo looking down the side of them). Maybe it’s just a byproduct of being a little lower, but I don’t get the same feeling about the front ?

So what do you think ... ?

Good pics. I have Magneride on my '18 GT PP1 A10 and have the same gap as the green one; I can't quite get two fingers in if I go straight in on the rears, and can just fit two fingers on the front.

Glad we have evidence to back up what I said earlier. There is a definite difference and it's obvious to the eyes.

Funny this topic comes up because I just noticed this a week ago with a 18+GTPP1 w/o MR vs my 18+ GTPP1 with MR. My wheel gap was certainly less than the other GT and it was obvious to the eye without needing to stick my fingers in the gap but I wrote it off to perhaps we were parked on opposing sides of the street we were on.

I believe we get a similar ride height as the GT350 but Ford won't confirm it because it would take away from GT350 prestige. Perhaps the GT350 has stiffer and more dynamic settings than a GT- MR but the GT- MR retains the ride height of the GT350??

Yep, don't need to lower Magneride cars. I can tell the difference easily to a non-magneride car. :turkey:

Did you have a non-MR S550 prior to your '18? As I mentioned above, from what I can see from my original delivery pics of both cars, my '19 looks a bit lower, but there's so many variables: photos at different angles, '16 was new, '19 had 4K miles on it, then I lowered my '16 on the stock wheels, did spacers (again stock), then switched over to the 20" MRRs I moved over to my '19. So the latter really had no photos by me without the 20", so not a lot of visual evidence to compare ...

Well, I was going to say maybe it's MagRide + Orange Fury but WDPro screwed up my theory

And I have to say, it's a bit weird seeing the steering wheel on the wrong side! LOL!!!

None of those are mine ...

The NFG could have been, but it was the wrong spec for me (no Recaro and it’s a A10) and they weren’t for discounting it much to move it off the forecourt. I’ve got a grabber lime on order :like:

Nope, the '18 is my first Mustang.

I drove both cars equipped with and without MR on same day on same roads and bought the magnaride as clear winner on comfort. After doing so and driving the car in mixed use situations, I bought the Steeda drop springs and the car became much more stable during braking and acceleration and very predictable. If your looking for street and HPDE then I'd recommend Steeda as an upgrade path. Here's a picture with stock wheels and tires no spacers and no rubbing.

That's what caught my eye, too. Really neat idea. Got any more pictures?
My car will be dark red, so I'm thinking I could do the same, but with white accents. Like a negative version of yours. :)

Nothing to contribute to the thread, just wanted to comment on what a cool idea, accenting the beltline in red.
