Motor trend photoshopped them. They did the same thing during the 2005 launch. They had me wanting the sexy blue interior. They also photoshopped a Shelby version.

I'm a little disappointed on these cover shots, both are shot at angles that don't do the Mustang's new lines justice. Neither are GT's, nor do they have the larger 20" wheels, or PP depicted. Maybe it's just me, but if your trying to sell magazines, wouldn't you put the hottest looking model on the cover? Even fashion magazines do that.

Chances are, press were asked to display the base model, as those are what will make up the highest sales numbers.

Mainstream press caters to two entities: government and big business (in that order).

I was was wondering the same thing. I imagine Ford chooses and sends the cars, why are they sending base models? Am I missing something?

More than likely these are just stock Ford photos (that we've already seen)..........just photoshopped into different colours and different locations.

That image was just posted to their Facebook page. I won't get the mag for another 6 weeks or so, being in the UK :frusty:

That being said, I don't expect to any of the magazine articles to tell us anything we don't already know.
