I think you've got it backwards. 70% would essentially be unnoticeable, as it would let 70% of light pass through it.
15% is very dark and 5% is like black paint...

There are going to so few of those anniversary editions available, you'll be lucky to find one for "only" $10K over msrp. Average will be $20K over.
Those parts weren't just dreamed-up. The lower fascia was taken from the '11-'12 California Special and the "mail slot" is from the GT500 Supersnake. I think it's a nice blending of the generations, but I agree, I wouln't want a modern GT500 to look anything like it.
