Yes, they are fast. It might be that Iāve found they are so fast the car thinks itās crashing on high G corners, thats track mode and button held for all advance track off. These are my next tires after the Pilot Sport Cup 2's. A lot cheaper and heard they do quite well.
CorrectSo when you say wider spacers (wider than the 25mm spacer) it's because the extra width of the tire (305 to 315) has an issue on the inside clearance?
you can trigger traction control, yes, but if its āhold the button for 8 secondsā off, it shouldnt cut power unless it errors out with dash chime and reboots the system, which can sometimes happen.Yes, they are fast. Iāve talked to a few well informed track mustang sources about this, we bounced around the idea of it actually being fuel starvation from the saddle tank, but the next step is to first disable under the hood traction control connector and see how that is.
See thatās the thing, itās not just the left turns, something doesnāt add up on fuel starvation. Going out on a full tank at ECR, after 2 warm up laps. I hit a flyer, and thereās a couple of right handlers there where I get that loss of power sensation out of the exit.you can trigger traction control, yes, but if its āhold the button for 8 secondsā off, it shouldnt cut power unless it errors out with dash chime and reboots the system, which can sometimes happen.
Sustained left hand turns can/will fuel starve a GT if its much below half a tank. At a quarter tank, forget it, session is basically over.
so try to keep it above a half tank. The 350s have two pickups to help this, but the GT just has one. You can guess which side of the saddle its on.
