After driving home I discovered no spare. Not trusting the seal and fill deal, I ordered LevittownFordParts Part # FR32-1K007-C $240.00. At trackattack someone told me it would not fit. Sure enough their website says excludes Brembo Calipers. I am sure that was not stated when I ordered it in May. What spare kit fits? What rim might fit to keep the tire?

I read that you can use it on the back tires so you’ll have to switch out the back tire to the front if the front tire is involved.

Yep I have it on mine its got everything you need. I refused to drill into the car though, I made a solution using the stock mounting points.

Thanks for the link. The wheel/tire only is $430.00 I was hoping to resolve this a little cheaper. lol
Yes, it is a costly kit, but like @First Stang and @Ctodd1 said you can use the one you have, and swap wheels as needed. That would save you money.

So it would be a 50/50 chance of it being the rear. Otherwise jacking the rear, swap spare for rear, move rear to the front. Yikes! Already had one screw in the left rear. Was 1/2 mile from dealer when TPS went off. Pulled a 3 inch drywall screw from middle of that wide ass tire. Not sure I would get so lucky again. Rural S.C. has areas with no cell coverage.

Just do the AA spare. A flat is inconvenient enough and may place you in an unsafe or non-ideal location to fix it. It's not worth the risk of more potential downtime in either of those scenario's in my opinion.

Well, I woke up recently to a completely flat rear tire on my Mach 1. Went to the trunk and saw that my car was not equipped with a spare. Pulled out the little factory provided gizmo that is half pump half leak stopping goo. No luck totally useless.

So, fast forward to after repair was made.. I bought a quality little air compressor for the trunk that plugs into the dash outlet, and I also bought a tire plug kit. Not ideal but it gives me the option to put air into a flat or partially flat tire until I can limp to a shop and/or stick a plug into the tire until I can limp into a shop. This all being said; I'm still thinking about buying the $400 spare tire from AA after looking into it more.

I have Forgestar f14 18 x 5 front skinnies wrapped with MT 26 x 6 x 18. Would this work on all 4 sides?

Get AAA for $129 a year. 200 mile tows on top of what ford Roadside provides. Cheaper than maintaining a spare and a whole lot less work. Just ask for a flatbed.

That works if you want to wait for the tow, but not so well when you leave metro areas and it’s a bit more difficult in getting a tow in a timely manner.

I was out on a cruise with friends a few years ago and one of the cars encountered a puncture and none of us had a spare that worked. He had to wait 2+ hrs for the tow truck to finally show, and slow ride home 100 miles away.

I decided to buy one of these spares the next week, and threw in a pair of gloves and one of those XL Tyvek suits (Home Depot) to throw over my clothes.
