Boss "429"?
Sponsored
That would be badass but 6.8 is only 415. However, who knows, doesn't mean they won't name it a Boss 415. We've seen the Boss 302 revival, Bullitt, Mach 1, as well so there isn't much left really.Boss "429"?
There has been no indication that a stripe delete option will be made available. They are vinyl so presumably they can be removed.Does anyone know if there is an option to get the Mach 1 without stripes?
I agree with your assessment. I am going to see next year if I can get a 2020 GT 350 that is still on the lot. If I don’t find one I want under sticker, then I will get the Mach 1 handling package with the Tremec. I just couldn’t buy the GT 350 this year, or else I would done it.For road racing I'd want the warranty. I've talked to someone who seriously road races an A10 and has smoked 3 transmission with all kinds of added cooling. If Ford really got it 75% more cooling it might be worth it. Plus a Mach 1 will likely hold more value than standard GT so you get warranty and that. I want a car that is good on a road course off the lot which is why I should have bought a GT350 but that ship has sailed (more than likely) so I'm looking at the Mach 1. The A10 is a possibility but honestly I'll probably just take the Tremec and be happy.
Whilst I don't doubt the GT350 will return, a big block engine seems an odd choice for it. GT500, sure, but the GT350 should be light on its feet. At the very least, the 6.8 would need an aluminium block, especially if it were to go in a GT350.It will be in the next gt350...
