Just in case you did not see it, the video where StangMode put Velgens on Mach 1 (and found the forgotten shipping blocks as well :)).

I had not, thanks!

So to combat the above HRE wheels video, let me throw my hat into the ring.

I have a set of ff10 on my GT, that I use heavily on track(the main reason I got it, Sunday driver, track use car). For a point of reference, on my open lapping days I am generally one of the quickest guys on track, and pass a lot of much faster cars. Just to give you an idea on how hard they are being pushed.

My car had seen 3 track days on those wheels and P4S tires, and are still flawless. I even had an issue out of the box with a chip on one wheel, HRE sent me another one, and told me the keep the old one as a hose reel!

My car is a PP1, brembos, and run 20x10 +35 285/35r20 all 4 corners. These wheels would fit a Mach1,reason why HRE says no is becasue the Mach HP has 10" and 11" factory. HRE does not make a 11" with the right offset. You would ahve to buy a sqaure setup like mine on 10" and 285/295's

What a clown. Why block out the wheels?

You can't get a HP car anymore. Unless you order a 2022 and you can't order a 2022 yet.
U sure there going to be a 2022 Mach 1.I thought the Mach 1 was a one year run

Glad someone asked HRE, my plan was to go FF10, damn. If M1 fitment is different from PP fitment it’s basically impossible to wheel shop online because no one is testing M1 fitment alone.

I had VF5s on my GT, loved them, but they look super modern imo. I like the retro/muscle look for M1s.

This is exactly my issue...I do love the VF5's, but prefer a more classic look. That said, Vibe Motorsports did confirm with the Velgen folks that they fit and are ready for Mach 1's. Vibe has them in stock in my color (Matte Gunmetal) and will probably get them.

Flow formed, is that a fancy way of saying cast?
Real 3 piece forged wheels are very pricy . Like 2k and up per wheel

Same, I’m not interested in finding out fitment the hard way, since they work it’s likely what I’ll use.

I will also say the responsiveness on my GT improved greatly from stock even though I went +2” because the VF5 is such a light wheel. I have no doubt the stock 5 spoke wheels are heavy as well, so weight savings alone may get me past the visual aspect.

I love the looks of the Apex, so wish they were available in 20"...or I so wish I could get Michelin All Seasons in 19" in the 315. Does anyone know why you can get 315's All Seasons for 20", but not 19"?

As was mentioned in another topic, Ford Performance now has a set of Mach 1 HP wheels with center caps and TPMS sensors for $1300. Pretty unbeliavable. That is a huge difference compared to (discounted) $3300 for just 4 OEM wheels in Levittown.

Pretty sure I'll go with them :)
