Nothing related to handling per say. Just want the 20mm(sh) drop. Had good reports from folks who used them for that purpose and was just trying to stay Ford. I dont intend on doing but a couple of minimal mods to my Heritage. Then may I ask what specifically you are trying to accomplish?
Be wary of the 20 mm. The front is 20, the rear was only 12 for me. Not sure why, but every MFG seems to want to rake the car more, when it needs less.Nothing related to handling per say. Thank you very much for sharing that!Be wary of the 20 mm. The front is 20, the rear was only 12 for me. Not sure why, but every MFG seems to want to rake the car more, when it needs less.
Another option is to go through AJ hartman and convert to fully adjustable, and you can use any 2.5" ID spring on the market. Just a thought.
Awesome, thank you for the feedback! I purchased some R wheels with 30 series Michelins and so I am very sure it will need a little elevation adjustment once I get them on.I have the 5300-W for seeevvveerrraaalll thousand miles now. It is the correct spring for magna. The lower stance is awesome, especially if you're running 30 series/R size wheels and tires. I have zero rake issues and think the car sits great. I'll get up some pics when I get home from work here in a bit. IMO, perception to me is the handling and overall amazing characteristics of the care are virtually unchanged, or improved (I did do the kit that came with sway bars also). I also don't subscribe to the whole "too low to drive" logic that seems to plague this community when you want to lower it. I have these springs, R sizes, and R splitter. The change in scraping was minimally worse at best, and 100% not a factor to sway me from what I want to do to my car. And certainly no worse than a stock R would deal with anyways. I'd say on par. And thus far, I have managed to only scrape the bottom of said splitter, which I really don't see that often, LOL.
