You guys comparing the force column in the Vorshlag results to the 949 results? What are impressions/rationale of the FP rears being softer combined with their differing design? I wonder if the softer FP springs are engineered to complement the presumably stiffer FP bars that were just released?

I like to disassemble things.
All I know is that I think Ford went about an inch too low with the GT350/R splitters and it screws everything up when trying to use different tire diameter/spring combinations.

Out of curiosity, why an inch? The tables don't to me suggest anything is falling off prematurely or acting anything other than as desired. I suppose it makes sense that the R front springs are stiffer, and the softer FP springs may have been intended as replacements for the GT350 springs rather than the R type. But I can't see anything in the data itself.

Like many people here, I picked up 30 series tires, 'R' springs, splitter and wing. So I'm looking for numbers to validate my pre-existing decisions.

The reason I'm curious about these rates is I'm contemplating which set up I will go with for next year, and there are a few choices. My goal is to avoid lowering the car if I don't sacrifice performance. I could go with R springs and rear R bar; I could go with R springs and the new FP bars; or I could go with FP springs and bars.

My anecdotal thought is the FP bars are designed to complement their springs. At first glance it seems the R springs and FP bars are a good option to avoid lowering, but I wonder if performance will be sacrificed? With the notably different rates, particularly in the rear, I question the right option to take. Any of the tech gurus have an opinion on this?

I'm on 30 series, R splitter in place, and both R and FR springs in boxes and ready to install either. The aero bits shouldn't be a factor that weighs as heavy in the mix as they do. The ~3/4" drop the FR springs provide really reduces ground clearance when street driving.
