So I just recently had a local shop install a set of Texas Speed LTH (catless) 1-7/8 to a MBRP Race Cat-Back 3" diameter piping. The shop used the included clamps to secure the piping in place. Im passed the break in period of new exhaust smells but am wondering how strong is too strong for exhaust fumes? Im running bamas 91 performance tune (yes I know bama, will be going with AED soon). I know it's normal to have exhaust fumes in cabin while at a stop but when driving how much smell would you consider normal? Sometimes I can smell light fume strength while driving and at others none. First time in a cat-less car so might be a rookie question but any help would be appreciated. Would Tack welds reduce some of this smell? I'm just concerned about possible exhaust leaks otherwise it doesn't bother me , will be going E-85 soon so ill be smelling that instead!!
