I have a 18 gt with a borla atak catback been looking at kooks and arh for lth headers. Got the car new and it has a little over 18k miles on it. I’m close to vmp in Florida so the tune isn’t an issue. If I do this though I’d void my warranty. How has your car been after a few thousand miles with headers any problems? Do you regret it? Thanks

Had my ARH LTH for 15k plus on my 18 GT. No problems other than underestimating how loud it can be depending on exhaust setup.

LTH is a great header set for the 18-20s. Fitment is solid and they give real gains. Hit me up if you would like to see what kind of price I can get you for our Presidents Day sale going on right now. Lethalperformance.com

I know I'm going to buck the trend here and I'm not trying to be a downer (simply sharing my experience) but after I installed my LT's my lower end throttle response/torque seemed to have fallen off. Tune was good (Lund) and was on E85. I am not saying it didn't net any upper RPM gains(although it wasn't significant on the SOTP dyno) but I dont spend alot of time in the uppper rpm's and I felt a more negative impact for type of mundane driving that I did. I ended up taking them off and putting the stock headers back on and was happier that way. Again, alot of this is where you put your priority. Not knocking headers and their benefits at all, just saying this was my experience. I'm pretty sure that a couple more folks reported a similar experience to mine. Anywho, just my .02

I saw that on this forum before but some people said it was the tune so idk also I’m just doing long tubes and a vmp tune. Idk if a aftermarket cold air intake makes a difference vs the stock air box in the low rpms with headers.

I did not have a very positive experience with a CAI either. I suppose the tune could be part of it but I’m pretty sure that John Jr. and the team have the tuning thing fairly well figured out so I am admittedly very skeptical of that as an explanation. Never the less, as i said, just my experience.
