What's the consensus of brand preference? I plan to stay catted even though I don't have to pass emissions in my county.

Depends on your budget. Stainless power is the budget brand of stainless works, they are made to the same specs as the stainless works brand but are made in China, that's why they are several hundred dollars cheaper. Just stay away from the sub $1K headers from ebay, they are hit or miss on fitment.

I've read of a few who had fitment issues with stainless power, Mine fit perfectly. YMMV.

Kooks, stainless works, corsa, ultimate headers, ARH all make quality long tube headers, choose what you're budget allows.

Ultimate Headers!
They are about 5 miles from me, along with corsa and flaming river. They are all on the same street. And stainless works is on the other side of town so to speak.

Fitment is perfect, no rubbing against the passenger side of the frame frame.

Lots of good brands out there to pick from. Pretty much depends on your budget, style, and sound you want. Along with the type of power increase.

I have worked with most over the years and you can't really go wrong with any of them. I personally run LTH Exhaust brand headers on mine and I love how they fit, sound, and the low end power increase they gave.

But again, you can't go wrong with Kooks, ARH, Stainless Works, Texas Speed, etc.

Let me know if i cam help with anything though as we stock some and offer all.

Terry,

If we get a group buy do you know of anyone that could recreate the Ramjet equal length header? Unfortunately we can get them shipped from Australia but they drive on the wrong damn side. As far as I know they are the only company that designed an equal length for the s550 chassis.

you have so many good options already, not sure if there is a market for it, all the usa guys have a way they like to do their headers. and have been testing on the coyote for years.

if there is enough interst though anything is possible

Ebay headers fix and work fine. Just don’t expect them to last 20 years. I have installed them a few times and fix just as good as any. This is just my experience

The header photo in the ramjet link is not equal length. I hope it is a standard photo and not of the product.

The photo of the 2 inch are equal length.

what would be the difference between the 1 3/4" double stepped into 1 7/8" Ramjet headers vs. the 1 3/4" Ramjet headers all the way through? I ordered the 1 3/4" (non stepped) but thinking I should change my order and pay the difference to get the double stepped version? just not sure if its worth it
