Hey guys, planning on getting lowering springs for my NON PP gt. Ones I am interested in are the Eibach Sportlines. Is this to low for a daily driver? I don't want this thing to scrape for every parking lot I enter. Any recommendations would help me out

Thank you,

Thank you,
Personally, I love the look of the Sportlines, but man daily driving it wasn't the most fun. Definitely gotta be more careful and ride quality was pretty good for lowering springs, but man the car felt great handling wise.

Might want to consider the Pro-Kit for a good in between look and drivability.

It this the eibach pro kit? Looks great
This is on the Sportlines. Definitely sits nice and low, but definitely gotta watch yourself over train track and other larger bumps. Can say it scraped a bit if you're not careful enough.

Pro-Kit will be a little bit higher (About a half inch less than the Sportlines) which makes for still a nice look, but not as low. Gives a little more hope to your front end. LOL

I had the pro-kit and liked them for a while buy living in DC they became too harsh for the brough roads and construction. I ended up going with the Steeda minimum drops and they're pretty good. I think the pic outsidr isbwith the pro-kit and the pocnin the garage has the steeda minimum drops.

Do not put Sportlines on a DD or any type driving unless you want to upgrade your steering and suspension to accommodate the geometry change. I have Sportlines but have spent $$$$ setting my car up for road and track use. Read my signature list. Also, if you change springs you'll want to upgrade the dampers as well.

Great advice already given but several. I might add if your already pulling springs might as well change out struts & shocks for the overall comfort & handling while you’re at it.

Like the OP, I'm looking at springs. I have a 2017 GT with the PP. Are the Steeda minimal drop, and similar springs a harsher ride than the PP setup? I know I don't have a lot of travel already, but are the lowering springs an even harsher ride?

I'm running the Steeda min drop springs.

Yes they are stiffer than the stock springs but I would not call them harsh. Pair them with Steeda's dampers.

I understand, and thank you. Currently on the factory PP ride, when I go over some bumps I say "oof" and feel it. No bottoming out, but I notice it. Just wanting to know if dropping the car will increase this a bit.
And yes, I know it is a sports cars and worlds different than my Ram 1500 :) The Mustang is a summer car for me.
