Hey guys I've looked into springs for the past few months and can't seem to get a solid idea on what springs are best for DD. I doubt I will ever track the car so I'm just looking for good drivability. Any input helps!!

I went with the BMR performance SP080 springs on my car they are supposed to match the PP car rates closely and provide a perfect stance in my opinion. The are firmer that the base springs I had on my car but I like them a lot, they got rid of a lot of the brake dive and squat of the base springs. To me they feel firm without being harsh.

You're going to get a lot of different opinions on this one. Some people swear by linear springs, and others like progressive springs for a daily driver. I've had both Eibach Sportlines and Steeda Ultralites on my car, and I liked both, but I ended up going with the Sportlines because the Ultralites didn't drop the front as much as I liked. The Eibachs also had superior fitment to the Steeda spings. I have some BMR suspension stuff on my car, and they have some great spring offerings as well. The BMR springs listed above are a good choice for a DD, as well. Look around at some of the spring threads and see which stance you like the best and go from there. BMR has some that have a more conservative drop; Steeda, BMR, and Eibach all make some that are more in the middle (1" drop or so), and Eibach also has the Sportlines for a more aggressive drop. They're all good products really, and you'll likely be happy with whichever you choose, based on the stance you're looking for.

The Ford Racing Street springs are probably one of your better options for a non-tracked daily driver. And absolutely go with progressive rate, regardless of brand you choose. Are you just looking for a drop?

I really love the stance of the sport lines but I have read on this forum that any lowering more than an inch jacks up the handling, anybody have any experience with this? I know I'm not going to be tracking the car but I don't want to make the car worse!
I mostly just want springs for the stance and to make the car feel more planted. It gets kinda floaty in the rear when cornering.

I put the eibach pro kit springs on my car and love them. While I don't daily drive it for cummuting or anything I drive the mustang as often as I can. I have a pp mustang and really don't notice the ride being any harsher.

Sportlines here and I love them, don't have any handling issues, much more planted and firmer than before

Yep, same here--though I also have BMR sway bars. I've tracked the car with the Sportlines and BMR sway bars, and the car is very capable and predictable. It can generate over 1g in corners with relative ease--depending on how brave you are.

I had forgotten about the Ford Racing springs, they are always a good choice as well.
