I like to disassemble things.
I understand why. I'm asking what you used that allowed verifying a torque figure that high.

Not sure this means squat, but Ford dealer tech quoted me the current workshop manual:
"Wheel Studs Removal

NOTE: Wheel studs are not serviceable separately. Wheel bearing and wheel hub assembly must be replaced."

White bear lake or any parts counter can confirm:
All S550 mustang hubs come with studs.

What year/model manual are you finding this wheel stud pressing diagram from?
The diagram looks great but might not be 2016 S550?
Your Ford Tech either doesn't have much experience or he wasn't posed the question properly. The factory Ford 2016 Mustang service manual indeed shows the procedure for replacing studs on a factory Ford unitized hub.

And White bear lake or any parts counter can confirm - Ford sells factory replacement studs so that they can replace a damaged stud, using the recommended procedure above. Directly from Ford Parts...

Are those the same part? The one listed in the Shelby application is $20 more.

Those are insane lug stud prices!:eyebulge:
Lol, When replacing with OE hubs I think I pay $42 for rears and $54 fronts for complete hub with studs already in it. Cant imagine paying that much for one stud...

Hope to get some pictures and test report in this weekend on all the studs I picked up for testing. Would be great to find a couple $30 solutions for beefy long studs in front or rear.

Not sure if it will work out yet, but really liking the $28 M14 610-333 option that has a full shoulder at 0.606" dia (0.29"^2) at the spacer/hub interface versus the 1/2" with only thread minor 0.44" dia (0.15"^2). That's basically 2 times the cross sectional area.

What would be better for an off track excursion above 140 mph? dunno, just saying...

This I know, but the part number appears to be the same in the diagrams above.

On a side note, have ARP hub kits for the Shelby?
R Studs are 3" front and 2" rear, I believe they share a similar part # but when you give the vin its off their registry parts list for the Shelby.
