Hey guys, recently replaced my Niche Targas with a set of Ford 19" polished. The Targas were 35 offset, while the Fords are 42....and it's pretty obvious when I look down the side of the car that they're different. You wouldn't think it'd be obvious, but it is to me.

Would I need to install longer studs to use a 10mm spacer? I don't want to bring them out a lot, but I want them out about where they were with the Targas.

Thanks for any input!

Assuming the front wheels are the same width, right now your current wheels sit 7mm further inside than before. 7-10mm spacers are hard to come by due to their close relationship height wise to the hub extension itself. You either need to stick with a 5mm spacer, or step up to a 12mm or 1/2" unit. The 5mm would not have a hub lip on it as the wheel can still grab the factory hub, but the larger one most definitely should have the hub lip for safety.

The factory front studs aren't terribly long, so I consider 5mm to be the thickest spacer you can safely install on them. A 1/2" spacer needs extended wheels studs from ARP, like these: https://www.apexraceparts.com/accessories/stud-kits/arp-m14x1-5mm-s550-stud-kit.html
