And my '16 car has been perfectly fine on stock motor. 18,000 DD miles and lots and lots of autocross and track time.

For sure...and gen x’ers got their share of flak from the baby boomers, etc. they said we didn’t care about anything, conformed by refusing to conform, etc. We just went through our issues before cell phones and the internet, so it wasn’t all recorded or “viral.”

I sold my 16 track pack at almost 14k miles, I had zero issues with it. Zero, not a single problem. Was in need of tires soon, but that was about it. Brakes were 50%, and that was after a few good track days...

Long term reliability? No one really knows yet. My assumption is they will be similar to the other Fords I've had in the past - 200,000+ miles no problem. Yes there can/will be minor or even major issues on some cars and abuse can destroy anything. Of course engine wear/life will also depend on how many miles you spend near 8,000 rpm and track use will wear out suspension components more quickly, but I don't see why the GT350 won't be reliable.

Exactly. There's a friggin' 5/60 warranty on the powertrain, exactly like any other Mustang.

You can take a look at extended warranty pricing from Ford to anticipate expected reliability sometimes. Despite a loaded GT being similar to a GT350 in cost overall for the consumer, the extended warranty costs are astronomically higher. I think the 8yr/100k on a GT350 is like 5 or 6 grand @ invoice pricing for Ford PremiumCARE ESP, vs about $1300 for a GT fyi.

Man, those are a lot cheaper then Canada. The 8 year, 200,000 km (120,000 mile) warranty was over $5000 at my dealer.

i got mine used CPO comes with the 4/48 bumper and the 8/100k
