Do you do a lot of driving below 2K RPM? I consider 2K to be the bottom of the power band, and downshift if I get below that while driving. But, I get terrible MPG (< 14), so maybe I should be driving it below 2K. I do get below 2K at idle, and dont really notice the grumbly sounds you mention.
I drove on them in the rain. I was cautious and didn’t take the highway, side streets only. Had zero issues. If there was pooling water you might hit at speed, I’d caution against it, not just due to the tires but the undercarriage aero bits as well. A light rain with no standing water...
Rolled over 1k miles today, so I am ready to schedule the dyno.
Should I get the first oil change before or after the dyno? I know both is the safest, but that's unlikely unless someone can give me a seriously good reason (due to cost for what seems like overkill). If it matters, I drove...
For sure, but at least its now delivery thats the issue...:)
If you only changed the exhaust on your 500, you may be able to not mod it, but I can tell you its tough! I like to personalize it a little bit myself.
You REALLY do need the jaeger bros front mud flaps (or equivalent). These tires...
Hang in there buddy. You ARE making progress. You’ll have it soon...
Have you pre purchased any mods? If I were in your situation, I’d prob have a garage bay full of parts ready to go on the car!!
Nice, man! Do you have any pics of it sitting still? I have a 19 thats performance blue with white stripes (non R), so somewhat similar. I am trying to decide between red calipers or yellow ones (have the black ones now, and want some color to offset the wheels). I have zero photoshop...
Yeah, thats a bummer. I guess I can buy them then take off the sticker. Honestly, cutting the hole in the side will bother me too, bc I just bought this thing, and it was expensive!! lol
Thanks for that info. Do the Ford Performance ones work on the GT350's? I thought there was some debate on that, but those are the ones I really want.

Thanks Greg. I'll make sure the guy does 5th gear pulls. The place I am going to is the main Mustang performance shop in the area, and has several GT350s in front of their shop on their website, so I assume they've worked on them before. Reason for saying is that they should have some...
Thanks for this.
Just want to make sure you’re certain on the tire sizes? I put them into tire rack to check prices and got nada. Maybe they don’t carry them, idk.
On the Ford Pass app, it says to drive the car for 2 minutes over 20 mph to update tire pressure readings.
Mine were at 45 psi from the dealer (not surprising from the dealer I was using). When I released some pressure, the car/app did not read the change until I moved the car.
I drove a 17 and now own a 19. My butt dyno says the 19 is sharper, quicker, though I realize that can be subjective, and less so for pre 19 owners. I’ll be in the same boat once they revamp this thing again.
One major change I don’t see listed is the clutch/springs. Major difference there...
Yeah, good call. Thats nuts. Did the rep tell you what the deal is with the car? If they know it will change status this week, they know what the status is currently...
I plan to in the next couple of weeks, as soon as I get past 1000 miles. I'm at about 900 at this point. I've already called the local mustang performance shop and discussed prices and options.
So, stay tuned!!
Wow, that’s a huge negative!! Do you have the Lund or AFD, or? I wouldn’t sacrifice the sounds for a little more hp...those sounds are the character and soul of the car!
Let us know if 91 fixes it.
