If your heart is set on a 350 ..I would switch out the tires to an all season set to minimize tramming. Gets old to not be able relax on long drives.
I used the Continental Extremecontact DW tires and loved them. Still fairly grippy, but the soft sidewall made things A LOT more compliant on the street.

Speaking of tires. I went from Cup 2’s to Michelin AS3’s on my RS. They have been a great all around tire through snow, ice, rain and they still grip well. A lot quieter than the Cup 2’s as well.

I would have a spare tire that would fit front or rear, don’t think I trust the gizmo we have instead
Oil and coolant not a bad idea to have along, although haven’t heard much about coolant leaks.
And a good alignment and balancing.

Go on Amazon like I did and buy a tire repair kit. It’s a helluva lot cheaper than the spare tire options that are offered and should fix a flat in most cases.

I drive From north of Waco to South of Waco every workday for my commute. Ive taken trips to Cresson and San Marcos in the past two weeks. The Shelby is a great cruiser.

Even with a shitty alignment and bad tires i only tramlined BAD over bad pavement. new tires (NT555 G2) and new alignment and now the same stretch of pavement doesnt faze the car at all.

I assume you went to San Marcos for Harris Hill. If so, how was it? I have been thinking about doing an SCCA day there, but haven't yet.

unfortunately no. Cresson was to watch my friend's CMC race.

San Marcos was for a family event.
